New Stuff

We have changed churches. For those of you who don't attend church, this won't mean much, but those of you who do know that this is a hard thing. It is difficult to leave behind fellowship with people you have been with for years. It was a necessary move, but that does not make it easy.

We are enjoying the new church. There are around 150 people, and we have been surprised at how many we already know from various times in our lives. There are many home school families (even the Pastor and his wife home school their children) and even a couple of families that were in the same group we were in for years. A sweet reunion.

We are going slow getting involved, though we have attended a couple of Bible studies that we got a lot out of, and will continue to do so.

It is a hard time for me to make a transition, as I am still battling my health issues, but they are coming along and the people in this church are understanding.

The pastor graduated from The Master's Seminary which is a big deal to us. It is wonderful to be under excellent expository preaching and sound doctrine. These are commodities that are rare in our area.

There is even a guy who Fibonacci knew when he was at grad school attending there. Which is nice for him.
